About Us

In June of 2022, Chef Jake Whitman and wife Ali opened Loott House, along with help from their brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Maggie Whitman. Serving creative and customizable burgers, salads, wings, and sandwiches - Loott House soon made a home for itself in the Swannanoa Valley. Chef Whitman and his family dreamed of sharing the “Loott” of their life with their community through good food in a cozy atmosphere. The name is a celebration of the Whitmans’ favorite "loott" - their children - whose names, Logan and Otto, were combined to create the Loott House name.
